Extractive Metallurgy

The extractive metallurgy group carries out research on hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and electrometallurgy.

Among the research areas are bacterial leaching processes, new continuous conversion processes from matte to blister copper, development of instrumentation for the mineral flotation process and others
